Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), the primary active component of SONOVA GLA safflower oil, is an omega-6 essential fatty acid found in only a handful of plant based oils, with properties similar and complimentary to the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. Made in the USA, SONOVA GLA safflower oil is FDA approved and AAFCO listed for use in adult dry dog food. It is plant-based and sustainably sourced and is often used in dietary supplements, topical cosmetics, as well as an additive for pet food.
